What is acceleration?

Acceleration is the rate of change of the velocity of an object with respect to time. It is therefore a vector quantity, just like velocity. Meaning that it includes both a magnitude (size) and a direction.

Input

Standard Gravity (also called: Standard Acceleration due to Gravity) is the gravitational acceleration of an object in a vacuum near the surface of the Earth.

Output

Galileo is a unit of acceleration used extensively in the science of gravimetry. It is defined as 1 cm/s².
