What is data size?

Data Size is a category of units to measure Data Storage capacity. Data Storage (more accurately: Digital Data Storage) is a core function and fundamental component of computers which stores texts, numbers, pictures, audios, videos, and nearly any other form of information in the form of a string of bits (binary digits), each of which has a value of "0" or "1".

Kibibit is a bit multiplied by 2¹⁰.

Byte is a unit of digital information that most commonly consists of eight bits. Historically, the byte was the number of bits used to encode a single character of text in a computer. Depending on the hardware, sizes from 1 to 48 bits have been used to represent a byte.
