# What is *temperature difference*?

**Temperature Difference**is the difference between two temperatures of the same scale.

## Input

**Degree Rankine**is similar to the Kelvin scale in that it starts at absolute zero and 0°R is the same as 0K (Kelvin), but in temperature difference, the change of 1°R is the same as a change of 1°F and not 1K.

## Output

**Degree Fahrenheit**is defined by two fixed points, the freezing point (32°) and the boiling point (212°) of water. In temperature difference, 1°F is the same as 1°R (Degree Rankine).
