What is temperature?Temperature is a measure of hotness or coldness of a physical object with reference to some standard value. Similar to pressure or density, it is an intensive property. Meaning that it does not change as the amount of matter changes.
InputDegree Celsius is a unit of temperature on the Celsius scale, a temperature scale originally known as the centigrade scale. It's a linear scale based on 0° for the freezing point of water and 100° for the boiling point of water.
Degree Rankine is similar to the Kelvin scale in that it starts at absolute zero and 0°R is the same as 0K (Kelvin) but is different as a change of 1°R is the same as a change of 1°F and not 1°C (Celsius).
